ITIL – An Emerging Management Technique

ITIL stands for Information Technology Infrastructure Library. ITIL is a modern approach to provide assistance to IT service management all over the world. It provides a specific strategy for planning, delivering and supporting IT into the business. ITIL encourage aligning IT service management along with the business strategies to meet all its need for the successful completion of business processes. Accredited Training Organizations or ATOs are the only approved ITIL training providers with licensed examination centers. Only ATOs and their associative centers have a license to provide training courses incorporating official trademarks, brands and copyright materials. All these ATOs are fully accredited by he examination centers. The accreditation is given only after a through inspection of all its management system, trainers and course materials. Organizations providing ITIL training without accreditation will be treated as violation of Intellectual Property law.

ITIL learning includes various levels of the program. Program includes ITIL Foundation level, Intermediate Level, Managing across the Lifecycle, Expert level and finally Master Qualification. ITIL Foundation is an entry level program which provides the candidates with general awareness of basic terminologies, concepts, key elements used in the ITIL development cycle.
